Ever wonder if you have taken enough veggies?





Remember our posts on fruit 🍎 and meat 🥩 portions? Today we’re going to talk about daily vegetables 🥗 servings intake. Do you take enough veggies? Let’s take a look 👀

The suggested portion is at least 3 servings of veggies. 1 serving would be equal to 1/2 cup of cooked veg or 1 cup of raw veg 🥒

Hard to imagine? 1/2 cup of cooked veggies is approximately the size of a cupped hand, while 1 cup of raw veg is around the size of a fist 👊🏻

So...do you take enough veggies every day? Veggies are important sources of fiber, vitamins and minerals, and cannot be replaced by fruits.
