Heyyyy after our last post on nutrition labels, we noticed some of u were still wondering how to read them...so here u go!
1. Pay attention to the serving listed on the package🤓If u read the nutrition label of the drink in the above post, u can see that there are 5 servings of 200ml each (1000ml in total). This means that if you are taking 400ml of the drink, u would have consumed 2 servings. As in this example, level of total sugars per serving is 23g, so 2 servings would mean 46g total sugar.

2. Before buying, compare nutrition contents of food products using per 100ml or 100g label📊 It is best if you can compare different products based on levels "per 100ml"/ "per 100g"😆It would be easier as serving size for each product might not be the same.

3. However, not all products have "per 100ml"/ "per 100g" label. Some only have per serving labels, so u might have to do the conversion yourself in this case🧐And here is the method: per serving level of a particular nutrient content x servings per product / 100

You can make a wiser food choice based on the nutrient level recommendation provided in our last post 😉
