Habit challenge 3: Mindful of Snack Portions


After reading our post last Tue on daily food habit, have you tried to: 1. switch snacks to healthier alternative and 2. eating slowly? If not, you can read our previous post and see how to do themšŸ˜†

This week we would like to ask you to be more mindful of snack portionā‡ļøHave you ever experienced the situation where you thought you would just take 5 cookies and ended up eating the entire can?šŸ¤­ I used to do that too! It is very common but we would like to introduce you a super simple hackšŸ˜‰ .

Instead of holding the entire can and taking from the container directly, you can take the portion of snacks you want and place it in a smaller container. This actually gives you greater freedom on food as you are more aware of the food you are taking and be more able to appreciate and enjoy the snack time. By reducing the chance of mindless eating, you will recognize your ability to make changes in food habits and be able to enjoy the freedom on taking snacksšŸ˜‹ .
